WHAT WE DO
SNEGID, the Swiss Network for Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Diseases, is a Swiss non-profit organization led by medical specialists and scientists in the field of eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases.
SNEGID aims to improve quality of care of Eosinophilic GastroIntestinal Diseases (EGID) -affected patients by promoting inter-disciplinary research, medical education, and standardizing clinical practice. SNEGID was founded in 2020 with the following goals in mind:
Act as a communication platform for patients, clinicians, and researchers with interest in EGID
Plan, coordinate, and publish clinical and scientific studies in the field of EGID
Improve knowledge on EGID through continuous medical education for patients, clinicians, and researchers
Improve quality of care of EGID-affected patients
Appear as partner for media requests
Act as partner for patient associations as well as pharmaceutical and life-sciences companies
